Los Angeles Review of Books + Yefe Nof Translation Residency Announced

Ena Selimović has been granted the 2023 Los Angeles Review of Books + Yefe Nof Translation Residency! She will spend her two weeks in Lake Arrowhead sharpening her translation from Croatian into English of a story in Marina Gudelj’s Fantomska Bol.


Former LARB Editor-In-Chief and current residency advisor, Boris Dralyuk stated, “I could not be more excited to help Ena Selimović refine her deft, energetic rendition of Marina Gudelj’s ‘Aunt Jelena.' The Croatian author’s wise, wily prose has found its ideal translator.”
